The final exam to graduate as a teacher in my country is a class, taught by the aspiring teacher, which is received by a group of students chosen at random, and evaluated by a panel of experienced pedagogues, who will then discuss the qualification to be granted, which will decide whether or not our applicant becomes a Master. Our poor applicant, who was nervous, had in his hands a file, or “a lesson plan”, which he would deliver to the jury once the exhibition was over, however, I was able to observe, and I think in time, that in the document, the word COGO was repeated several times, the use of which instead of LAME caught my attention.

Don’t feel bad, our applicant, although it may seem simple to you, it is very common today to find people who, before writing one or the other of these two words, hesitate in doubt. It is very common for this genre to use invented terms or words, the meaning of which lacks a specific definition, an example of which are the terms watchineo, imagineo…
This trend has decreased in recent times.
The truth is that, despite everything, it is important that we pay attention to spelling, it does not diminish us, nor does it make us less modern, on the contrary, it gives us knowledge, opens new doors for us, helps us understand what others do not know, and for it strengthens us so much.
If you realize that until now, you had made this mistake or something similar… don’t be intimidated, rectifying is wise. Do like our applicant, who noticed on time and was able to deliver the corrected document. Our nervous boy is now a physics professor at one of the most prestigious universities in my country.
Simple advice
Learning from mistakes that appear to be simple is important, because it depends on whether our life is better in the future. Remember, life is also simple, we humans are the ones who complicate it, therefore, what better recipe than defeating the simple to grow tomorrow?, so that our goals are higher as we grow bigger.
That is why it is essential that they know how to distinguish between lame and lame, and between many words with similar phonetics such as house and hunt, or married and hunted.
