When you have any doubt about how the words are written, you only have to resort to your close sources to resolve the doubt. In the case of how it is written also, tam bien or tan bien, it depends on the meaning you want to give to the phrase.
First you will have to know if the word exists or not, therefore the first step you must take is to go online at the Royal Spanish Academy ( RAE ) and on the right hand side write the word you want to know about. In this case we try also and it gives us a definition, so the word exists and is well written. Later we will put also and we see that it tells us that there is no result.
What we deduce from here is that it is also the wrong way of writing also which means *to indicate the equality, similarity, conformity or relationship of one thing with another already named*. Therefore we will also never be able to put it because it is not correct. When putting it in Word, it also appears underlined in red, which already alerts us that there is something wrong and that is that according to the spelling rules, the letter b always goes after m, but together, not separated, therefore it is incorrect to put also.
Now we move on to the second part, which is just as good, that is, it is also written, but correctly, since, unless it goes together, the m goes before the b, but if it goes separately it will be with n and not ending the word. in me here what must be taken into account that it is so correct to also put as well, that one is well written does not exclude the other.
The difference here is that each one has a totally different meaning. We also already know that and that of so well refers to when something is more than good. ‘I am so well that I always smile’ means that the person is more than happy, he is better than well. In the same way that ‘I’m so bad that I don’t know what to do’ also refers to something being worse than bad and as we can see, it is also separated.
So we have to take into account that it is also correct to say it, that it also does not exist because the words do not end in my, how well it exists, but to say that something is better than good. So when we doubt how to write too, too, or as well, we first have to think about what we want to say, whether to add something (also) or express that we are very good (so good) and exclude tam bien from either of the two. with and without accent.
Knowing how words are written is easy, we just have to use logic a bit and write the word we doubt about in a sentence so that it has a context and is easier for us.
Tips for writing too, too, or just as well
- If you doubt how the words are written, the first thing we have to do is search in the RAE, at least to find out if the word exists or not, and once it tells us that it does not exist, then it is because it is misspelled and in that case you have to resort to putting it in Google or Word.
- If you write the words in Word, keep in mind that you must have the spell checker activated, otherwise it will show that all the words are correct even knowing that you are typing them wrong. If you don’t know if you have it activated or not, what you can do is write a word that you know how to spell and put it wrong, so if you get a red line below you will know that it is activated and if not you will have to activate it.
- If you don’t have any program to find out, you can also ask someone close to you. Don’t be afraid to ask something that you think is silly because it is better that you ask it than that you are always putting it wrong.
- Remember that first you have to think about what you want to say with the word, because they are also correct but each one is used in a totally different context. So keep that in mind, because you can write the word correctly but in the sentence that you shouldn’t, which will also make what you have put wrong because it will not make sense, it is not the same as ‘I am also sleeping a lot’ or ‘I am also like yesterday’, when what you mean is the opposite.
- Write the words within a sentence so that they have a context and you know how they are written, but remember that también is not an option because the words do not end in my if you do it is because it goes together, as well.
