Let’s start to make the simple knot:
- Turn up your shirt collar, close the last button and adjust your tie to the appropriate place. Following the signs indicated above, I will explain how to tie the knot to a medium-sized man, who will have to put the small part of the tie at waist level.
- Once the tie is in place we begin the knot. Under the neck, cross the wide part over the narrow part just below the neck.
- Now take the wide part and slide it under the narrow part.
- Take the wide part, fold it over and pass it over the narrow part.
- It is time to take the wide part, pass it over behind the tie, placing your index finger on the knot that you will see that it is forming, remove your finger and slide the wide part inside the knot.
- Try to keep the narrow part, and carefully pull the wide part to close the knot. Adjust the knot so that it is centered and well done, finally, bring it up to the last button on the neck.
- Once you have made the knot, it is important that the narrow part is not seen and the end of the wide part is located at waist level.
